I’m passionate about and take people development very seriously. I enjoy transferring learning and sharing knowledge and my personal aim is to help individuals to reach their personal best. More specifically, I’m interested in coaching employees and business owners alike, to flourish in the new world of work. It makes more sense to embed learning in the work itself, to create more effective and sustainable organisations.
Paulette has more than 18 years’ experience in strategic talent development and learning advisory services within the financial services industry, through varying roles which she occupied throughout her career. She is equipped to operate comfortably in both the public and private sector, through her collaborative approach. At BANKSETA she operated at industry level (or sector level), being able to liaise with executives and HR teams from various registered banks, the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), Training providers and Public institutions of Higher Learning (to mention a few). It was her mandate to implement BANKSETA’s collaborative model by obtaining buy-in from registered employers prior to implementing large-scale projects through a robust procurement process, whilst still maintaining project governance excellence. She has a proven track record regarding successful team management, having achieved desired financial outcomes for both the company and personally over an extended period. Her specialisation is designing and implementing learning programmes that meet employer capacity and capability needs; whilst also complying with relevant skills regulations – thereby allowing employers to benefit from skills incentives.
