I love working in Small to Medium business and enjoy the challenge of being part of the decision makers, mostly the owners and top management.

Work Experience

After working in the formal sector for a few years, I started a business with a friend in 1998.

I eventually sold that small, but very successful business in 2009, and subsequently have been involved in 5 other companies, buying, selling and building businesses.

I am an Experienced General Manager, Director and Business owner, with a demonstrated successful history working in the event services, manufacturing and engineering industries. Skilled in Negotiation, Business Planning, Operations Management, Contract Management, and Business Development and specific and special project management. Strong management professional with a B. Comm focused in Marketing from University of Johannesburg.

I have developed a strong focus on understanding financial management from the small business operators perspective, focusing on cashflow, budgeting and forecasting.

As I look back over the years, I see many of the young people that I have worked with are now senior players and business owners themselves. It gives me great joy to see people develop and grow to be part of that success.

I have been consulting and coaching full-time since September 2018 when I sold my interest in and left my last company.
I have focused on the events and entertainment industry and will branch out into other related industries as the need arises, and as suitable opportunities present themselves.

I have however also coached an owner of an online service app company and advised on the startup of 2 other small businesses, and am involved in a few other companies as a coach and trusted advisor.
