I have a passion to help diverse business leaders and entrepreneurs clarify their strategy to enable business growth, to grow their leadership capabilities and then to grow leaders in their business for a more sustainable future.

Work Experience

I am an experienced Value Chain Specialist with experience in a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, solar, and consulting. I spent 10 years with Unilever in various supply chain roles covering Factory and Category Planning, Packaging- and Non-Production Item Buying.

I was fortunate enough to co-run an SMME business for 5 years focusing on Consulting in Supply Chain, Change Management, and Customer Service. This lead me to the Retail sector with Massdiscounters where I operated in Planning Management and lead HR for their Corporate team.

As part of the HR team, I partnered with the various Corporate Executive teams to strategically plan their current and future resource pipeline development, structural tweaks and changes, and growing future leaders for each area. It was hugely beneficial to have operational knowledge of each division and being able to relate to the outcomes and challenges they had to work with.

My coaching experience started in 2001 during my tenure at Unilever. Since then, I have coached corporate and private individuals on an informal basis aligned with one of my core beliefs of Empowerment. In my Corporate HR role in retail, I was fortunate to get the opportunity to Coach a number of diverse high performing leaders into key leadership positions.

The coaching topics covered a variety of areas that included strategic business positioning, team leadership, role transitioning, leadership development and understanding corporate politics. I regularly met with Board and Executive members to facilitate ‘Thinking/Reflecting Partner’ sessions, that proved very successful in helping leaders think through their business and clarify priorities.

As a Business Coach I have been fortunate to be trusted with a variety of coaching projects including start-ups and single entrepreneurs, senior leaders of mid-size and multi-national corporates, and church leadership. The range of industries covered are FMCG, Mining, Training, General Consulting, Pastoral, Retail, Venture Capital, Sports and Wellness and Environmental/sustainable energy Consulting businesses.
