Coaching the executive management team of a national regulator

I am the former General Manager Legal Services of the Council for Medical Schemes ("the CMS"), which is the regulatory authority charged with the regulation of the entire medical schemes industry which has 8.9 million lives covered by private health insurance and with a gross turnover of approximately R180 billion.

The CMS decided that the entire Executive Management Team should be exposed to an Executive coaching program in order to further develop their leadership and management skills. A number of prospective service providers in this field were put forward to the team and I was immediately attracted to the service offered by Mr. Neale Roberts.

The experience was rewarding from the outset and I developed an instant rapport with Mr. Roberts, primarily because of his interest and focus on a holistic approach to developing those areas which I was interested in exploring.
